Morning Motivation

Are you having a hard time getting out of bed in the morning? Does the thought of going to work or university fill you with dread?

Believe it or not, you're not alone.

Many people find themselves struggling to get motivated in the morning. But don't worry – there are things you can do to change that.

First and foremost, you have to make a commitment to yourself. It's not going to do any good to try and get up early if you're not actually going to stick
to it.

So decide on a reasonable time that you want to wake up each morning and write it down or put it in your phone as a reminder.

Once you've set your alarm,
don't hit the snooze button!

Get your body moving as soon as that alarm goes off by doing some stretches or jumping
jacks.

Drink a glass of water to help wake yourself up.
Take some time for yourself before getting ready for the day.
Meditate, pray, or just sit in silence and focus on your breath.
This will help center you and prepare you for the day ahead.

Finally, give yourself a positive affirmation to start your day off on the right foot. Repeat it to yourself every morning and eventually it will start to become second nature.

Here are a few examples:

I am capable of anything.
I am loved and supported.
I am worth my time.

When you wake up, take a few minutes to write down your goals for the day. Be specific about what you want to achieve, and break your goals down into manageable
steps.

Review your goals regularly throughout the day,
and make adjustments as necessary.
Stay positive and upbeat, and be sure to celebrate
your accomplishments along the way.
Take a few minutes to think about your goals for the day.
Visualize yourself succeeding at whatever you set out to do.

Remind yourself of your past successes, and allow yourself to feel proud of what you've
accomplished. Allow yourself to feel confident and capable as you prepare for the day ahead.

This is a great time to be alive,
and you're going to make the most of it!
You can do this!
You're amazing!

Remember: your morning is the prologue of a successful day, another step toward your
goals, another stage toward your dreams.

Spend it right,
and it will make the whole day meaningful.
Have a great day!
