Stick It Out So One Day You

Can Say I MADE IT!

I MADE IT..

Through all the cold nights, when I wanted to give up,

when I wanted to give in, I triumphed.

I made it through the worst of storms.

I got by all the haters wishing that i'd fail.

I proved all the doubters wrong.

Despite all the naysayers, I MADE IT.

You see, your perspective is everything. You must be careful with what you see. It's possible these things will be some of the most wonderful things you'll ever experience. In effect what you decide to see, will determine who you will be. And I can totally relate to the nights you were lying there in your bed and you didn't have a single dollar in your name. And of course on nights like this you felt absolutely worthless.

You felt there was no possible way you could make it. And I know sometimes the nights got so difficult that you wanted to throw in the towel. Nights where you pretended everything was good. On the inside you were dying. These are perhaps the most trying times in our lives. So many people are dying inside because they have no idea of the greatness that sleeps inside of them. You must make a decision right now. No longer will you let your greatness sleep. No longer will you deny its existence.

You must let your potential be realized.

You have one purpose.

You are putting up a big fight now so that one day

you will earn the right to stand on stage and say 'I MADE IT'.

Don't be discouraged by rejection. It doesn't matter how many times you sent your highlight tapes off to different scouts. It doesn't matter how many of them said you don't have what it takes. If you are that musician that's repeatedly told that you don't have a hit in your material, it does not matter.

You have a gift, and you need to keep sharing it with the world because all it takes is one compassionate ear that values your greatness, and gives you the opportunity you need. A word of caution here.

You need to be very careful who you hang out with. Why? well because you become the average of the five people you spend most of your time with. In effect the standard we set becomes the results we see. And these standards will create the life we live. You need to realize your worth. No matter what comes up, you need to stay strong and keep striving towards your goal.

Never allow disappointment to check your progress.

Never allow failure to stop you.

Never let thoughts of doubt stop you moving forward.

Always start with a plan.

These are predetermined steps you need to take.

Simply take each of these steps,

And realize one day they will lead you to that pedestrian,

Where you can stand and say: ‘I MADE IT’.

Make absolutely sure here that you stick it out. Things will get tough, but you will never make it unless you see it through. So don't give in to the haters, the naysayers and the doubters. Stick in there for yourself. This is your life, this is your dream, nothing else is more important, so give it all you got. And never ever settle for less than you can be.

This is probably the greatest life lesson you could ever receive. In Richard Carlson's best-selling book entitled: “Don't sweat the small stuff” he talks about a man who asked him what the people are like in California. Richard told them: Well what are people like in your home state?.

To which the man replied they are “Selfish and greedy”. Richard responded with: Well, most likely find the people in California to be “Selfish and greedy” as well you see. Negativity is not connected to a certain location. If you cast negative light onto your life or experiences, then no matter where you live, the job you have, the money you got in the bank: You'll never be content. You'll always want more. You'll always look at others in envy and never be happy.

You can have a great life, if you first nurture a great mindset.

A blessed life hatches from a blessed mind.

You don't get this mixed up, as it never happens the other way around.

You don't get blessings come to you so you can feel blessed.

You feel blessed then blessings come to you.

You always have a choice in life. You always decide what you will focus on. So you decide if your life is messed up or bless up. In truth you can be extremely happy with very little, or you can be absolutely miserable with very much.

If you think about it, i'm sure you'll identify many examples from your own life in the lives of others. You don't have to look hard to find billionaires in rehab or drug or alcohol abuse. Likewise you'll see many people who are financially poor but rich and happiness. So the question becomes what would you prefer. Would you rather have all the money in the world and feel wrenched, or to have no money yet have abundant enjoyment each and every day.

No need for alcohol or drugs, just a continuous flow of life, love and happiness. Interesting it's all connected. Psychologists tell us that everything we do, everything we buy, All the money we spend and possessions we accumulate, spring from a belief that we'll be happier when we get these things.

Yet ask anyone that has accumulated great wealth, and they will tell you that it does not bring great happiness. In effect only you create your happiness. And this all starts with being grateful for what you already have. And I'm not advocating that you are poor and happy here. I'm simply saying be grateful for what you have, and you'll open the floodgates to more. You must always give gratitude first, then work to achieve the things you want second. It has been proven time and again that the more grateful you are for what you have. The more will be given.

The Bible says that:

For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance.

Whoever does not have, even what they have to be taken from them.

I absolutely guarantee that if you take the time to be grateful for the things you have, your life will improve immeasurably and you will attract even more. Gratitude puts you in the peak mental state to get even more of the good things in life. So practice gratitude daily, and at the very least you'll feel better with each passing day. What a concept. So give it a go, and prepare to be amazed with what it gets you.

Thanks for reading and stay blessed!
