Three Mistakes of Life

Once upon a time, there were two friends; Shan and Maan. They were very poor. Both were studying in a college in their village. Shan was hard-working. He gave importance to working hard and accomplishing his goals.

He kept saying that hard work opened the door to success and those ‘good things come to those who wait’. The other boy was Maan; he was the total opposite of shan. He was inconsiderate and negligent.

He always wanted a shortcut in his life and didn't believe in hard work. He was also short-tempered and non-rational. The families of both the boys faced financial insecurities, so shan decided to start working to feed his family. But Maan wanted a white-collar job.

He told shan that the work he was doing was undesirable. But Shaan was just happy with his decision. Days roll on, and Shaan performed well at his job.

Maan wanted to earn a lot of money and he wouldn't listen to anybody else.

Finally, he got a job with a firm that made its income in unjust ways. When Maan started to work, he made a promise to his family that he will give half of his pay to them, but his family refused to take his money because the way he was earning the money was not acceptable.

Maan still didn't feel guilty.

After a few months, they both got married and started living happily with their wives and children. Maan was earning a lot of money. His wife and children didn't know about his job.

His family thought that he was a hard-working honest man. Maan loved his family a lot his father and his mother died after his marriage.

On the other hand, Shan became substandard but he was earning legal money. His wife was good-natured sympathetic, and kind.

Shaan's child was like him; a brilliant and hard-working boy like him. Shaan and Maan didn't meet each other after their marriage.

One fine day, Shaan took his family to the park, the same day man also took his family to the park. Both families were sitting beside each other but they didn't realize it.

When Shaan turned around to look at his children playing he was shocked to see the Maan. Both felt gratified to meet each other after a long time.

Maan was worried as his job was not going well; Shaan tried to correct Maan again. But he still didn't feel guilty.

After a few days, the papers were filled with the news of a Maan who was caught playing fraud with black money. After hearing the news Shaan felt so rested that he left his house and went to meet the Maan.

Shaan went to jail and spoke to the Maan, he was worried about his family. “I am feeling very ashamed of my mistake, yes, of course, good things come to those who wait, and you waited for good things Shaan said Maan.

“Yes Maan, you are absolutely right, I waited but you didn't,” said Shaan. “Please help me Shaan, please,” said Maan. But sean could do nothing.

My dear brothers and sisters, this story gives a clear message: good things come to those who wait. Good things take time.

The seeds planted do not sprout the next day, but that doesn't mean they never will. Be patient. Trust the timing of your life. Every moment we receive in life is precious.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us. You can get lost in time envisioning the future or regretting the past.

Time is the one thing that each and every one of us has the exact same amount of, every single day. But what do you do with those 24 hours given to you each new down is that really matters.

Three mistakes of life are:

  1. Finding a shortcut to success.
  2. Putting deaf ears to the devices of well-wishers.
  3. Earning money by the wrong means.
