Two Friends

Two friends Ramesh and Arun belong to kashnagar school. One day Ramesh stole 20 rupees which were kept in a purple-colored bag by his friend Arun. 

Arun on his way back home after school saw Ramesh who was licking an ice cream greedily at a street ice cream vendor which was located 200 meters from the school.

Arun asked: “Ramesh! have you seen anyone stealing my money which was kept in this bag?”

“No, Arun. I don't I didn't see anyone doing that” said Ramesh.

“Bro, someone has told in my 20 rupees today which I brought to eat ice cream after school,”

said Arun.

“Oh! Really? actually, thieves are increased in our school, don't worry, the guy who has

stolen your money will be punished severely by God, he won't come to school tomorrow

see” said Ramesh.

“Yes, he has to be punished, but how could you say that it has been done by a boy?” Asked Arun.

“I, I… just guessed,” said Ramesh and offered half-licked ice cream to Arun. Arun refused and walked off home.

Ramesh expressed a relieved sigh when Arun left. Cunning Ramesh leaked the cup completely

and went home joyfully.

Two days later, Ramesh came to school and was given 20 rupees Arun. Arun asked:

“why are you giving me this money?”

“Sorry Arun, I did a very bad thing, I was the one who has stolen your money it's your money take it, please,” said Ramesh and hung his head in shame.

“Could you please tell me what has happened?” Asked Arun. 

“Sorry Arun, on the day, I stole your money and ate ice cream on the day I had been 20 times to the toilet, the very next day 30 times.

 I had to swallow the most bitter tablets on this earth. At the end of the day, I got to know that it was due to eating out of expiry ice cream. I'll kill that vendor. 

Anyhow, I did wrong miss did pay instantly” said Ramesh and apologized for his misdeed. Arun accepted his apology and took a promise to him that being his friend never repeat this to anyone.
